Members ADKMiner Posted September 22, 2014 Members Report Posted September 22, 2014 Hi all! When I introduced myself a while ago I mentioned that I worked near Gloversville, NY. Anyhow, I stopped by today and took a look in Daniel Storto's glove shop. Fascinating stuff. I'm interested to know if anyone can recommend any old books on glove making? I'd love to give it a try. I make mostly sheaths and holsters, so glove making seems like a whole other realm for me. Always learning and looking forward to something new. It seems that a lot of the glove making knowledge that was in the area twenty years ago is mostly gone. Jobs shipped oversees and factories closed. Pretty sad. If anyone can recommend some means for learning, I'd appreciate it! Thanks! I guess I should also update my profile. Ha. I've been lurking too long Quote

Members ADKMiner Posted September 23, 2014 Author Members Report Posted September 23, 2014 (edited) Glove.org. There is a website for everything! Thank you for the link. I'm still open to references, maybe historical references related to glove making. Thanks! Edited September 23, 2014 by ADKMiner Quote
