Glove Making Texts

Hi all!

When I introduced myself a while ago I mentioned that I worked near Gloversville, NY. Anyhow, I stopped by today and took a look in Daniel Storto's glove shop. Fascinating stuff.

I'm interested to know if anyone can recommend any old books on glove making? I'd love to give it a try. I make mostly sheaths and holsters, so glove making seems like a whole other realm for me. Always learning and looking forward to something new.

It seems that a lot of the glove making knowledge that was in the area twenty years ago is mostly gone. Jobs shipped oversees and factories closed. Pretty sad.

If anyone can recommend some means for learning, I'd appreciate it! Thanks!

If you google How to make gloves you will find quite a bit of information.
