Members jwoldsr Posted September 29, 2014 Members Report Posted September 29, 2014 I am thinking about trying a different approach ti saddle stitching. I have used an over-stitcher to space my stitches and then either stabbed the holes with my awl and stitching or drilling the holes and then stitching. I am thinking of using a pricking iron to make the holes and using the awl to open them while stitching. I saw a complete set of pricking irons on ebay that are made in China. Has anyone had any experience with them? Quote
electrathon Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 I have a set, they work great. They are the ones with the flat handle, look Iike the new Tandy ones. Quote
mlapaglia Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 How about a link to these irons? Quote
