I have a couple of projects I'd like to tackle and I'd love to find a mentor near SE Aurora. I have a successful collar business (hobby/side business) and would like to add a line of collars that will require branching out into using veg tan leather, bridle leather, or latigo. I need to learn and understand the differences and determine which would work best for my purposes. I also need to know what tools I'll need to get started. I would expect to pay for your time and expertise. :-) I'm not a complete newbie but would prefer to learn specific to the product I want to make rather than seek out a general leather working class.

Thanks in advance,

Lynn

There is a leather guild in the Denver area that may be able to help you. The Columbine Leather Guild meets over in the Golden area on the second Sunday of each month.
