Members SecondFiddle Posted October 24, 2014 Members Report Posted October 24, 2014 I have a couple of projects I'd like to tackle and I'd love to find a mentor near SE Aurora. I have a successful collar business (hobby/side business) and would like to add a line of collars that will require branching out into using veg tan leather, bridle leather, or latigo. I need to learn and understand the differences and determine which would work best for my purposes. I also need to know what tools I'll need to get started. I would expect to pay for your time and expertise. :-) I'm not a complete newbie but would prefer to learn specific to the product I want to make rather than seek out a general leather working class. Thanks in advance, Lynn Quote
Contributing Member Bob Blea Posted October 24, 2014 Contributing Member Report Posted October 24, 2014 There is a leather guild in the Denver area that may be able to help you. The Columbine Leather Guild meets over in the Golden area on the second Sunday of each month. Quote
