So I look on ebay and there are too many varieties of the Chinese tools. Can anyone with more knowledge direct me to the ones that are closest to the Vergez Blanchard ones??? DavidL Report post Posted October 25, 2014 dixons are a good option. I got an older regular model for 40-50 dollars for an inch and a half model, it had to be thinned. Dixon slimline may be the closest new stock (I don't have one to test), dixon does allow customization I hear. The closest would be a vintage dixon iron if you can get a good deal.
