anybody ever heard of a tom taylor bench skiver? model sply-zer made in pennsylvania?

Tom Taylor used to have a saddlemaking school in Pennsylvania in the '70s. The last time I heard the name he was in Texas, if it's the same person. That's all I know.

Same info as Kevin. I haven't heard of the bench skiver before. Got a picture or a link?

i am going to look at it and buy it.. was wondering what it does look like myself...... will post pictures after I get it this coming weekend

They're extremely rare, and worth THOUSANDS if you can get one in good condition!!!

Sorry, just kidding (I think). I too am interested in what it is, and am looking forward to learning more about it-----just from an "info" perspective.
