Eyelets And Leather.

Recommended Posts

Do you use eyelets on your hybrid holsters? I see the #8-9 for two pieces of kydex. What about 8-9 ounce leather with a kydex shell? I usually rivet them or, maybe, chicago screws.

you can use rivets of eyelets. If I am making one with adjustable tension, I just use a Chicago screw with some rubber grommets, no eyelets

#8-9 eyelets are for two pieces of kydex. What do I get in eyelets that will work with leather?

I am not tracking, that picture is a coyote color kydex holster. you dont need eyelets for Hybrids, most ppl use T-Nuts to use with the chicago screws. Am I missing your point?

Ok, #8-9s are good for 9oz leather. However, be mindful that leather will give and the solid kydex dont. so, when setting the eyelets, be careful and go slow so you dont split the roll
