Members Hedge Posted November 29, 2014 Members Report Posted November 29, 2014 Been scratching my head on this one for awhile. Can anyone tell me how to make a single row herringbone interweave? I've tried modifying multi-row interweaves but can't seem to get a single row to work. Thanks. Quote
Members 25b Posted November 29, 2014 Members Report Posted November 29, 2014 (edited) It's covered on page 60 of Ron Edwards' Round Knots and Braids - Advanced Leatherwork Volume 2. Edited November 29, 2014 by 25b Quote
Members Hedge Posted November 29, 2014 Author Members Report Posted November 29, 2014 25b, thanks for the reference, but I don't have the book. Quote
Members 25b Posted November 29, 2014 Members Report Posted November 29, 2014 Well this is where I bought mine... http://www.angelfire.com/ak/skateworld/ Or you can probably borrow a copy from your local library. If they don't have it, they can probably get it through interlibrary loan. I don't think I can post the pages from the book here due to copyright restrictions. Quote
Members millwright Posted November 29, 2014 Members Report Posted November 29, 2014 Hedge, go to the Bosal tutorial started by Alan Bell at the top of page 1 in the braiding forum (actually about the 3rd topic from the top). The first post on the second page of that tutorial, Alan shows how to put a single strand of color in a 6 bight casa/turkshead. I haven't done it but it's somewhere for you to start. Good luck, Bret.
