Members DrtNstLeg Posted December 8, 2014 Members Report Posted December 8, 2014 Question for the experts. I have a singer 29k60 that Id like to motorize. Just tired of peddling. What type of motor would I use for this conversion? Quote
Members silverbullet Posted December 11, 2014 Members Report Posted December 11, 2014 You can use a 1 amp or stronger sewing machine replacement motor with the foot pedal. Mounted off the back with the same type motor mount on the singer style. Just need to drill two holes. Then cut the belt to fit . Or you can get elaborate and mount a servo under the table and hook the treadle to the motor control . I made mine from an old pump motor that had a small shaft that fit the sewing machine pulley. Added a hand rheostat for mine it's what I had around . Works for me quite well . Silverbullet Quote
