Members KurseD Posted December 11, 2014 Members Report Posted December 11, 2014 I'm in the process of refurbishing my grandfather's old knife. The original sheath is beyond hope, so I want to make a replica. It has pins that push through with fold over tabs or ears on the backside. Quote
Contributing Member TwinOaks Posted December 11, 2014 Contributing Member Report Posted December 11, 2014 Those look like some sort of furniture tack. Or maybe just 'spots'. If you're looking to exactly reproduce the sheath, then sure, go ahead and use them, but they aren't what *should* be used there. There are better choices if you want to reinforce the sheath. Quote
