Members Bruno Rock Posted December 13, 2014 Members Report Posted December 13, 2014 (edited) Just finished another guitar strap, I called this model Hard Rocker It's made with 8/9 oz. veg tan leather, 1'' and 3/4 wide, the longer piece is roughy 40 inches long and the second, the one with the buckle, is roughly 22 inches long. I took inspiration from this video, thanks Richard Black!Tell me what do you think! Cheers from Italy Edited December 13, 2014 by Bruno Rock Quote
mlapaglia Posted December 13, 2014 Report Posted December 13, 2014 Looks good. I personally prefer a wider strap. That looks like a Fender guitar in the picture. Those and the Les Paul are heavy enough for me that I like the wider strap so by the end of the night my shoulder isnt hurting from the thin strap. All taht aside its a very nice looking strap. Ya done good. Quote
Members Bruno Rock Posted December 13, 2014 Author Members Report Posted December 13, 2014 Thanks mlapaglia! Yes it is a Fender Jazz Bass, I was thinking maybe to make also a matching shoulder pad for this strap...as soos is done I'll add others pics! Quote
mlapaglia Posted December 13, 2014 Report Posted December 13, 2014 A shoulder strap would definitely save your shoulder. The Jazz Bass is one heavy muther. Quote
Members Bruno Rock Posted December 17, 2014 Author Members Report Posted December 17, 2014 This afternoon I've completed the matching shoulder pad here a couple of new pics, now the strap is completed! Quote
Members Bruno Rock Posted January 26, 2015 Author Members Report Posted January 26, 2015 (edited) Thank you guys! Just finished another one! Tell me what do you think! Do you guys think it's too thin the belt slot in this new one? Edited January 26, 2015 by Bruno Rock Quote
mlapaglia Posted January 26, 2015 Report Posted January 26, 2015 Yes I think its too thin. It might not wear as well if you get one of those Lead guitarist that like to wave the guitar all around Quote
Members Bruno Rock Posted January 26, 2015 Author Members Report Posted January 26, 2015 The moment I realized I've punched the slots too close I was really pissed off with myself for that mistake, do you think will wear out that thin? Quote
