Made this as a Christmas gift for my mother. My most ambitious project so far. All constructive criticism welcome.

Looks good overall. The lacing could use a little tightening up and the corners need some work. Check out Chief's videos on youtube for mexican round braid, they really helped me

I don't think you did anything wrong with it, everyone has their own way of doing things. I was simply giving you a suggestion to help you improve And if mom likes it, she's the one that matters in this case

No worries. I realized the corners didn't look right when I was doing them. Mom seemed to like it, and wouldn't hear of me re-lacing it. Moms are the best!!

Nice, I tried to make a kindle cover a year or so back, and it turned out to be a lot more complicated than I thought it would be. It didn't turn out nearly as well as I hoped. Yours is much better.

Thanks, MonicaJacobson. I definitely made the process more complicated than it needed to be!! I know more now than when I started, and I'll do things differently next time.
