Members craftsman827 Posted January 2, 2015 Members Report Posted January 2, 2015 (edited) I've been making a lot of dog collars & leads for "stafford terriers" I use "english bridle leather" which I get from Wickett & Craig. I'm looking for a good conditoner to tell my customers to use. Someone sugested "Sedgwick's leather dressing", that comes from England. Does anyone know of something just as good, made in the USA. Members InspiredbyChrist Posted January 26, 2015 Members Report Posted January 26, 2015 Will Aussie or Skidmore work well for Pull-up and Utility leather? Can I apply it over stitching with upholstery thread without messing the thread up? Some of my designs call for a contrasting natural color thread on black or brown leather and I need a conditioner that smooth's out the pressure foot marks that my sewing machine leaves behind. I've been using Tandy's Pull-up additive that works well, but it doesn't help to protect the finish of the leather from scratches and drying out. Quote
