Members Modad2010 Posted January 20, 2015 Members Report Posted January 20, 2015 I am in need of a round knife. I have an old CSO that I believe someone took to a grinding wheel and got too hot and removed the temper, resulting in the inability to remain sharp without constant stropping. I really wish I could afford to drop $200-$250 on a Dozer, Knip, or Leather Wrangler but can't right now. I have seen some used Rose and new Weaver Master tools and J. Watt for $90-$120 range. Any recommendations on which would be the best bang for the buck? Thanks, Doug Quote

Members Tramps Leatherworking Posted January 20, 2015 Members Report Posted January 20, 2015 A few months ago I purchased a new CSO head knife for less than $55.00 --- sharpened it up, and so far I have no complaints --- was well worth the money. Quote
