FerrumDeSocietate Report post Posted January 28, 2015 Hello all, Been a rambler on these forums for a little bit but never a member as i had no need to post... but i am a little bit stumped. I recently aquired a Singer 211w155. I got a table and am in the process of setting it up. Trouble is, i dont know where the knee lift is supposed to go. I cant find the "spot" where this lift arm is supposed to press to release the foot pressure. I have included a few photos of the machine, and the table. Any help here would be appreciated as all the books and manuals are, lets just say a little outdated and the images look like a drunk 5 year old drew them. If anyone can point me in the right direction i would greatly appreciate it.
Wizcrafts Report post Posted January 28, 2015 See the hole in the frame near the timing belt, on the bottom? A rod needs to feed through that hole, connected to some arm on the upper back side of the machine. You need to hook up the knee lever so it makes firm contact with that rod. When your knee forces the rod up, the feet will lft and at some point the top tension will be released..
