Members JLeigh Posted January 28, 2015 Members Report Posted January 28, 2015 Hello all! I have a conundrum. My android device is not only my phone, but my camera and computer too. My photos, as taken, are too large to upload to the forum. I tried using Picasa Tool to resize the image. I got it to a small enough file to upload but I cannot access that file in the attachment options. I tried sharing the resized photo file to Drive, which I could access, but the post editor said that I cannot upload that kind of file (I have no idea what type of file it had converted into). So, does anyone else use an android mobile device to attach/upload a picture to their forum post? How do you do it? Quote
Members Charliewz Posted January 29, 2015 Members Report Posted January 29, 2015 (edited) I don't know if Picasa gives you the option to save pics as jpg or gif format, but you can use Irfanview (a free editor) to change the format of pics to post them. Open the pic with irfranview and under 'file' click on "save as..." then pick jpg or whatever format you need. Picasa may have the same thing. I think posted pics are jpg format. Hope this helps.
