jackd942 Report post Posted February 3, 2015 Anyone had any experience with this? Just wondering about the ability to stitch a neoprene backing to an IWB holster with a cowboy or cobra leather stitcher.
BHPshooter Report post Posted February 4, 2015 I know it's been done -- I believe Milt Sparks used to offer a holster with a neoprene layer sewn on or between the back layers... In either case, those machines should do it, I would think.
jackd942 Report post Posted February 4, 2015 Guess I'll give it a shot...I'm sure the machine will stitch it, I was just curious if the stitch would hold up in that material. Thanks -- Jack
Fdisk Report post Posted May 14, 2015 I know this post is old but I just came across it. I started the neoprene/fabrick blend on leather holsters and yes the cowboy will sew it just fine as long as you handle the neoprene the same way you do the leather and have it tacked or glued to the leather first. If you dont and just try to sew the neoprene it will just pull it into the machine.
