JHamm Report post Posted February 4, 2015 I'm trying to attach solder onto leather as a decoration however when the solder hardens it falls off instead of sticking to the leather. I've searched around and can't find any mention of doing this. Does anybody have any experience or tips to offer?
howie696 Report post Posted February 4, 2015 you've no chance using hot solder, it might work if you glued on the cold solder
TomG Report post Posted February 4, 2015 What Howie said... You're only chance that I can see is if you put a copper rivet in and solder to the rivet. But you're going to have fumes out the wazoo probably. Solder melts at something like 750 degrees F. What are you trying to do?
