tonyc1 Report post Posted November 16, 2008 I had someone call and ask if I have heard of Ultrasuede, (not sure of spelling) material that is used for making chaps. I've never heard of it or used it. Has anyone on the Forum heard of it or used it. Next question is if you have, can you tell me who stocks it? Tony.
tashabear Report post Posted November 16, 2008 (edited) I've heard of it. It's a micro-fiber fabric; you sew it like any other fabric. Any chaps that were made out of this stuff would be purely for show; they wouldn't actually look or hang like leather, and about all they'd protect your legs from might be a sunburn. http://www.ultrasuede.com/products/fashion...arel/index.html Oh, holy crap... they're sold for the show ring. Pleh. http://www.hobbyhorseinc.com/08_shopping/c...hap_index.shtml Edited November 16, 2008 by tashabear
