I am the kind I look for deals. I have gotten some items from ebay and that is what this post is about. I hope everyone here has at least a general idea of prices because I have noticed that people on ebay are paying $50+shipping for an item that you can get new from tandy for $10. I just have to shake my head and wonder why. Some people on ebay are marking their items "vintage" and that seems to raise the prices more. For one, unless you got the money to blow, why buy (so called) vintage? Allot of these tools are still being sold today new. I also see stuff marked vintage that you can tell isn't. Last I knew, a tool such as a stamp, doesn't gain value because of the age. Second, I for one love allot of the older tools, but compare prices with sites like tandy to see if it is a deal.

I suppose what this post is mainly about is that allot of us do this as a hobby or it is how we make money. So I am suggesting if you find a 'deal', unless you know it is good, compare the prices to make sure.
