Members JAZZMAN Posted March 18, 2015 Members Report Posted March 18, 2015 Hi everyone, i have just made a wallet and dyed it with eco flo medium brown dye, when i have come to bend it for the first time the inside middle section of the wallet has wrinkled up, i have used very good quality veg tan 1.5mm leather. Has anyone else had this problem and can it be avoided? I am quite new to leatherworking so any help would be great. Quote
King's X Posted March 19, 2015 Report Posted March 19, 2015 It would be best if you lightly moisten the liner leather prior to gluing it together. When it comes to gluing the pieces try to glue it on a curve or fold. You liner is longer than your exterior piece so when you fold it, it will wrinkle. I hope I didn't confuse you. Quote
