Conscious Nate Report post Posted March 24, 2015 Ok, I've been fooling around in the shop trying to duplicate some of these rings I've seen online. I just cannot figure out the method or technique. I'm to the point where I will pay somebody $20 just to get a how to guide lol. Now, according to the web. This ring is made with a light metal base adjustable ring. I think it's wrapped in a very soft thin leather and glued together, maybe barges or E6000 glue. Then probably sprayed down with some saddle lac or some other kind of finisher. I'm trying to figure out how this person wrapped the eye so perfectly It looks like the eye has a perfect eye socket and is it just 1 piece of leather or multiple? If anyone can figure this out, I have no problem shooting you some money for your troubles lol.
raysouth Report post Posted March 24, 2015 Hello Conscious, I cannot lend a hand here but must say that they are great looking items. If reasonably priced, it may be worth purchasing one of them, just to see how it is assembled. Would like to know where to pick one up myself. Very creative. God Bless.
