Members muttley Posted March 29, 2015 Members Report Posted March 29, 2015 I am replacing the stirrup leathers on a couple of youth saddles to allow some more room. I am going to keep the original fenders. My question: what size of rivet is best for these types of repairs and what is a good rivet setter to have. Thanks Quote
Members CWR Posted March 30, 2015 Members Report Posted March 30, 2015 I would use number nine copper rivets. Bob Douglas at Sheridan leather makes a nice setter. Good luck, CW Quote
Members Big Sioux Saddlery Posted March 30, 2015 Members Report Posted March 30, 2015 I second what CW said Quote
