veedub3 Report post Posted April 4, 2015 There are soooooooo many designs and styles of messenger bags there is absolutely no way for anyone to tell you how much leather you will need for your project. Anything we tell you will be a guesstimate at best. With that said, based on the messengers bags I have made, a side of leather was more than enough with some leather left over for other projects.
