Otto6294 Report post Posted April 30, 2015 I made this last week....no tooling...utilitarian. . I also went and got 3 10' 2 x 8s and built a sturdy pounding table because my long table was loud and bouncy. And I installed a servo motor on my 16-188 singer.....busy week. Peter Darby Report post Posted April 30, 2015 I like the clean lines of the sheath. Any problem catching the snaps when putting the knife back in the sheath? Nice table. Carving/stamping leather and bouncy tables don't go together.
Otto6294 Report post Posted April 30, 2015 Nope.....just rake both straps back with the spine of the blade and slide it in. Way better than wrestling with the one that came with it. The original is a wood sheath wrapped in leather and very tight.
ChiefFilipino Report post Posted July 1, 2015 Nice job. Does the sheath hang from the belt? That's what I am assuming the key fob type attachment is at the top. Am I correct?
Otto6294 Report post Posted July 3, 2015 Yes...It is a rather large knife for a dangler set up but I hang it on the side of my backpack.
