DocHoliday1882 Report post Posted May 28, 2015 I picked this hand tool up at a local market for a few bucks. I know it is used for cutting due to the honing marks and edge but I am curious if it has a specific name. Does anyone know? Thanks in advance.
chrstn53 Report post Posted May 28, 2015 (edited) I think its called a bleeder if I remember correctly. I use it for cutting strands when I braid leather, it a useful tool. Edited May 28, 2015 by chrstn53

IMG_9397.jpgIMG_9398.jpg It is a bleeder and is used for tying bleed knots for holding conchos on saddles. I have one from Ron's tools that is a sharpened set of long nose pliers. Yours is the more traditional variety. Art
