Members l2bravo Posted June 30, 2015 Members Report Posted June 30, 2015 Hey guys, I am a new guy here, and new to leather as well. I have a question about finishing leather. I am building a pouch for shotgun shells. I am using veg tanned leather, and would like to keep it natural finish, and let wear darken it. I have tried neetsfoot oil on sample pieces, and it darkens it quite a bit. How can I keep it natural, but also protect the leather? Thanks for the insight guys, Josh Quote
Members DoubleC Posted June 30, 2015 Members Report Posted June 30, 2015 Use resolene. It will keep the leather water resistant but allow the sun to darker it. http://springfieldleather.com/23211/Finish%2CResolene%2CNeutral%2C4oz/ Cheryl Quote http://www.etsy.com/shop/DoubleCCowgirl
