Members TomG Posted July 26, 2015 Members Report Posted July 26, 2015 Lots of folks use the modified arbor press for stamping, etc. Are any of you able to share photos of the work surface and any guides that you lay the leather on? I am struggling to find a way to lay my straps down and move them consistently to stamp names, etc. Thanks Quote Tom Gregory Legacy Leathercraft www.legacyleathercraft.com www.etsy.com/shop/legacyleathercraft
Trox Posted July 28, 2015 Report Posted July 28, 2015 Hi Tom, I know this is not the kind of Arbor press you are talking about. But perhaps you can adapt the centering idea of this self sentencing press. You can talk to Itch about it, Weaver leather also have a similar system for their punch press. https://youtu.be/g7W4-oj3sEc Tor Quote Tor Workshop machines: TSC 441 clone/Efka DC1550, Dürkopp-Adler 267-373/Efka DC1600, Pfaff 345-H3/Cobra 600W, Singer 29K-72, Sandt 8 Ton clicking machine, Alpha SM skiving unit, Fortuna 620 band knife splitting machine.
