natenaaron Report post Posted August 13, 2015 This is probably a dumb question Lets say I am making a notebook cover. I want to line it so there is a flesh side on the outside and inside. I like the 6-7 oz leather for my covers. If I line it with a 2-3 oz leather does that in effect make it a whopping 8-10 oz leather cover which is way to thick? 25b Report post Posted August 13, 2015 Yeah, I'd skive the edges of the outside layer and the inner liner...just to reduce the bulk on the edges.
