Members jstar61 Posted September 6, 2015 Members Report Posted September 6, 2015 I would appreciate any help you all can give. I have a sheath that I intended to seal with sno-seal. It was wet formed from veg tan, dyed with fiebings dye and oiled with neatsfoot oil. My question is should I apply resolene or supersheen if I am using Sno-seal? This is a sheath for a very nice custom knife my niece's husband had made, but he plans on useing it daily around their farm, so I want it to hold up well. Quote
electrathon Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 If you "seal" it with risolene or sheen then the snow seal will not be able to soak in. For a basic sheath I would just put the snow seal on it. Actually, I would use Dr Jacksons, but snow seal is similar. Quote
