Members club49 Posted September 11, 2015 Members Report Posted September 11, 2015 Hi all, I am making a Civil War era cap pouch. I am going to use it for metal detecting as a finds pouch, I am not making it for a reenactment pouch. I do want to keep it as authentic as possible. Does anyone know the correct measurements for the pouch?reenactor leather care article MOLD.pdf I tried to upload a photo, I am not sure if it worked. You might get the whole article, if it worked. Members gunter Posted September 13, 2015 Members Report Posted September 13, 2015 a cap pouch is a small pouch, I would recommend a cartridge pouch ;-) Quote
Members whitIL Posted September 14, 2015 Members Report Posted September 14, 2015 I have an original cap box from the Civil War era. It is about 3 1/2" wide, about 3 1/4" tall, and 1 3/8" deep.--Whit Quote
