Members Lockeland Leather Works Posted October 22, 2015 Members Report Posted October 22, 2015 Hello all, I just had a friend ask if I'd be able to recreate a leather key fob that her mother carried since she was a child and recently broke. There is some minor carving on the piece, which I do not do, and offered to reach out to see if there's anyone interested in helping out. Please let me know if you're interested and I can get you in touch with my friend. Thanks a lot, guys! Quote
King's X Posted October 23, 2015 Report Posted October 23, 2015 It appears to be a single impression stamp of a rose with stem/leaves. The teardrop is pretty common shape. You can try a couple of peeps of mine. Mott's Custom Leather and Salty Dog Custom Leather & Wood. I believe both of them offer this type fob. The impression is a different story though it can be carved for sure! Good luck! Quote
Members Norton Custom Leather Posted October 23, 2015 Members Report Posted October 23, 2015 Lockland, i live between East of Memphis. That can be carved on a new piece & with some light tooling duplicated. I have done repair jobs on vintage leather like the one you show, let me know if you want to discuss those options & I will get you my number. If you need further help let me know & we can find time to get together. Quote
