Members Skylark53 Posted November 24, 2015 Members Report Posted November 24, 2015 Is it by the actual diameter of the piping? i.e.: 1/8" piping foot for 1/8" piping? Or do I have to take into consideration the added dimension of the material I will be sewing around the piping? Thanks. Skylark53 Quote
Moderator Wizcrafts Posted November 25, 2015 Moderator Report Posted November 25, 2015 It is usually based on the total diameter of the covered cord. The foot or feet are radiused to the exact size indicated on them. A 1/4" piping foot fits over a quarter inch diameter of material and cord.
