Caiman Inlay Knife Sheath

here is a caiman tail inlay sheath i just finished.

this is the first time ive used exotic, and basically i just wanted to try it. The inlay is "scrap" tail i picked up from springfield, 3/4 oz sandwiching it on front and back. the back is 5/6 oz.

The knife is a Ontario knife company Air Force pilot survival knife.

the original sheath has a stone holder on the front of it with a badly placed rivet that scratches the blade every time it goes in and out.

after i finished it i noticed a couple of things i could have done different like a retention strap, and the edges could use some work. but over all i am pleased with the way it came out.

Very nice. I've never worked with any exotics and honestly my work is generally built for hard use so I probably never will. Good work.
