I finally invested in Chuck Smith's "Big Red" sharpening Jig, I've used an old Tandy for years, this thing is much, much, much better, I also got the medium and fine grit ceramic stones from him. All of my swivel knives are so sharp now I can't believe it. I should have done this years ago. Great product, thanks to Chuck Smith.

It is amazing how many people use dull knifes and swear that they are sharp. Then a light goes on when they actually learn how or someone sharpens it for them.

I was keeping them sharp but it was taking a lot longer, the ceramic bench stones are terrific, much better and quicker than the diamond and Arkansas stones I was using.
