showcattle Report post Posted January 6, 2016 Hello everyone, My name is Matt, Ive lurked on this site since I began fooling with leather around 5 years ago. Im attending school at Stpehen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, a little East TX town. I took a few years off from leatherwork when school and working had me too busy and am now getting back into it and knocking some dust off. I was handed down a bunch of leather tools from my girlfriends dad since he doesn't have the time or eyesight to do leatherwork anymore. I absolutely couldnt believe my luck. He had a bunch of old craft tool, Barry King stamps and some custom made stamps as well as much more. This really reignited my fire back to leatherwork and I have been trying to carve out more time in order to practice. Im currently looking into getting a sewing machine and am looking hard at the Cobra Class 4, this is one of the pieces of equipment I can't wait to get my hands on as I absolutely hate hand sewing.
