Members aldebaran1981 Posted January 10, 2016 Members Report Posted January 10, 2016 dear all, i've been struggling very long with my edge finishing i keep wondering if it's the problem with my edge paint or my techniques i normally try to sand the edges down first, and then apply one or 2 coats of the edge paint. then i will use fine sandpaper to sand it down and then apply again with a handheld roller applicator is this the right way? i want to let my products have the proper finishing because I normally don't work with veg tan that uses a burnishing tool any advice is very very much appreciated.. Members club49 Posted February 5, 2016 Members Report Posted February 5, 2016 Try dyeing your edges using a piece of felt, held with a close pin. There is a whole step by step instruction posted by Bob Park. It is an excellent step by step instruction. I printed it out to keep by my work area. I am sorry I can't tell exactly where it is. Check out the site, he covers everything. It was under the heading, Finishing Edges. Quote
