Pounder Report post Posted January 31, 2016 Hoping someone can assist me with contact information for Ed Stiles and Leatherburnishers.com. I have sent several e-mails to the website site and have not received a response. This is regarding a maul I ordered November 17 and was told by Mr. Stiles on December 17, "it should ship soon." Since then I have heard nothing and of course everything is paid on my end. At this point I believe certified correspondence to show proof of attempting to resolve this matter are in order. It is disappointing to spend $120. for an Ed Stiles/leatherburnisher maul then have to spend an additional $75. to replace your old one cause you can no longer wait for Ed Stiles/leatherburnishers to fulfill their promise. I appreciate any help that is provided.
TomG Report post Posted January 31, 2016 I don't know Ed, but have heard good things about his stuff. He does have a notice on his site that mauls are an 8-week item. And things happen to delay production at times - especially for those of us who do this as a second income. Hopefully he will contact you soon and get everything resolved. Luck Tom G When I ordered this maul the website gave a two week time line before shipping bit I agree, good things take time. I have also heard good things about Ed Stiles which is why I contacted him for the maul, I have heard he is the best. That being said, all I want is a response to the e-mails I have sent, surely two minutes of time is not to much to ask. I understand this may be his part time thing but his delay is affecting my full time business. Customer service takes only a few minutes but will last forever. Ignoring your responsibilities as a business person is inexcusable.
TomG Report post Posted January 31, 2016 Yeah.. I can understand your frustration. I was just giving you a heads up that he was showing 8 weeks now.I agree that delays beyond what you've quoted should always be addressed with an email or phone call. Hope you get it resolved soon. Pounder Report post Posted February 1, 2016 Finally heard from Ed. It appears the maul is still at the laser engravers (yes I opted for the fancy plate to commemorate when I opened my business three years past) but should ship out Wednesday. Regardless, I am pleased to have finally heard something, at least now I know it was a supply issue beyond his control and that he is addressing this matter. Don't know if anyone reached out to him from this site but at least he has made contact which is all I wanted.. As to that I commend him and look forward to receiving the maul.
