Members Mujician Posted February 21, 2016 Members Report Posted February 21, 2016 So I think I may be able to answer my own question but a lot of the things I have made are single layers of leather -coasters, key fobs etc. I have just about got to grips with general colouring, and being careful. However, when I apply an antique to my projects it tents to go all wrong! I'll end up with the gel all over the place including the flesh side. SO my question is this - after applying al the dyes/antiques etc, should I then turn it it over and apply antique to the flesh side?, or should I just be more careful in future and leave the flesh side 'au natural'? If the best thing is to apply some kind of finish to the flesh side, what is best to apply? (I mostly use tandy dyes/antiques etc) Thanks Quote
terrymac Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 Put shipping tape on flesh side. Terrt Quote
