I have a 97-10 for sale which came from the USFS in Alaska it was, according to the serial number, built in the early 50s. I have had several upper and lower needle guide made by a machinist, a few of them still need polishing because they may have sharp edges, it also comes with a wax pot, a bobbin winder several different needles, a chap table and some small parts, all shown in the photos. Most of the time I use 794 needles with a S point with needle guides made to work with this needle system which makes a very nice stitch on anything under 1/2 inch, above a 1/2 and up to an 1 inch I use a cut down 331 and it sews well, I do have about twenty five 3x97 size 24, ten 4x97 size 24, and a few 4x97 in larger sizes. This machine is in very good working condition. Don't really want to sell but I need a machine with a longer arm. I am asking $1950 obo and it is located in Lakeview Or., I will ship but buyer arranges and pays, any questions please call 530-260-0770.

I'm sorry I can't get the video to load and I don't know enough about the inter web to link things but I am learning, anyway if anyone wants to see a video for now they will have to go to my Facebook page, Hanel's Saddle shop.

Thanks Mario
