Finish And Feeding Leather?

Hi,

Just finished my first ever leather piece.

An everyday carry notebook.

Pretty basic really.

Skull design on the front accented with eco flo black water stain then all over with dark brown antique gel stain.

I have supersheen and feibings leather lotion.

I want it to be very supple. Should I finish with a couple coats of the supersheen first then a few coats of the leather lotion?

The other way around. The lotion then the Supersheen. Once the super sheen goes on, it will seal and stop the lotion from penetrating into the leather.
