Members glmr Posted March 10, 2016 Members Report Posted March 10, 2016 My new project for leather crafters - the stitching guide template. for perfect stitch, perfect corners, perfect distance between holes and professional quality. presized cnc laser cut, 5 and 6 stitches per inch, diferent rounding diameters, pure acrylic sheet, designed and made in Italy. only one question - what's a better hole size? this one has 2.2mm (3/32''), but maybe I should make it for another type of awl? tell me, please! I need your help! Quote
King's X Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 I've own one of these made by a US company for over 2 years. The holes are the same. I do not think you need another tool. You just want to mark the holes to give you a reference. Nice picture! Quote
Members glmr Posted March 11, 2016 Author Members Report Posted March 11, 2016 I suppose that I know which tool means. but mine one is different Quote
King's X Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 Sorry.....you were talking about your awl. I use a point awl/scratcher from C.S. Osborne. I was just commenting that I wouldn't suggest that you make another one. The one you have in yours hands can work with your current "awl" tool. My apologizes! Quote
