I've been experimenting with different leathers and tried a couple patterns. I'm having inconsistent results using one pattern with different types of leather. I'd like to know what kinds of leather you guys have had the most success with when it comes to making cowboy hats and if you have any patterns. Of also like to know what tips you may have for making the brim fit precisely to the crown. Thank you! Quote

Then I bought some suede that was slightly thinner and all of the sudden the brim was bent all funny and put of shape and I can't figure out why. Quote
