Members FireLeather11 Posted July 8, 2016 Members Report Posted July 8, 2016 Hello all, first time posting here and I need a little help. My apologies if this has been covered, I'm a little unfamiliar with the site. Anyhow, I'm having an issue with my paint fading after I apply a finish (usually resolene, sometime Angelus and leather sheen). I typically apply 3-4 layers of paint and wait for it to fully dry. My problem comes when I apply a finish. Within a day or two the paint appears faded and the dyed leather is peeking through. I typically paint on dyed black veg tanned with no finish prior to paint. Any tips would be much appreciated. Thanks Quote
NVLeatherWorx Posted July 8, 2016 Report Posted July 8, 2016 Some images of what you are experiencing will help some of us formulate a response. A bit of information about exactly what materials and products you are using would help as well. Quote Richard Hardie R. P. Hardie Leather Co. R. P. Hardie Leather Co. - OnlineR. P.
