projcts Report post Posted July 17, 2016 So our project was to build a virtual home to show off other projects. Just wanted to invite all the makers/doers/craftsman/artists to our new project gallery website. www.projcts.com (that's projects without the e) Where you can showcase progress on your project step by step. We feel that anything can be a project, and there is nothing more frustrating than not having a good medium to share and collaborate, or being bombarded with annoying ads. We set out to make a place for people who make things to show off their works in progress and finished pieces, and easily share, interact, and update their project. Here's a slick leatherworking project on there now: Cool Messenger Bag We’re new, but we’re not going anywhere. Feel free to use projcts.com show off your progress. You can link to and from your projects and this forum or your other sites, and share your entire project or your whole portfolio with a simple link. Anyhow, just wanted to put that out there. We like people who make cool stuff, and this seemed to be quite a collection of them. Feel free to share! Thanks, Projcts
MikeG Report post Posted July 18, 2016 I like leatherworker.net. Really like that I can find all the truly extraordinary talent and willingness to share and help at every level right here.
projcts Report post Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) We love leatherworker.net too! There's nothing like a great community in an area. One for inspiration, and mentoring, and of course eye-candy. We in no way are looking to replace these community sites (leatherworking, metalworking, woodworking, cosplay, drones, etc). We instead are looking to connect them to each other in a place to show off their work when its finished or as it's made, and share a project easily, while still linking back to wherever they like. Without communities like leatherworker.net, it's all just beautiful noise. Edited July 24, 2016 by projcts
