Members mdridd47 Posted July 31, 2016 Members Report Posted July 31, 2016 My name is Mike and I started with my leather craft about 25 years ago, I consider myself as a beginner, I have self taught myself when ever I need to make a project. I picked up my first set of tools at a Church garage sale, and have been adding to it ever since. I took a break from leather work about 13 years ago due to some life changes, and now a neighbor saw some of my work and has talked me into starting again, and I am glad that he did, because it does make me proud when I finish something that I created! I will try and include some photos of my earlier work, right now I have started back trying to finish a couple of projects that have been on hold since about 14 years ago, maybe now I will finish. bikermutt07 Posted July 31, 2016 Report Posted July 31, 2016 Welcome back to the fun. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
