I have ordered on but it is going to take about 20 days to get so I was hoping someone here might have one I could borrow or rent as well?  If some one does please send me a pm.

Thanks

Ron

I would be happy to lend you mine, but I've got several orders for CZ-75 holsters scattered over the next few weeks. :(

I know the pain of waiting, though. Perhaps someone of the other folks will be able to help.

sorry for taking so long to get back to you, I did buy one in that should be here tomorrow ( Saturday ) and I also bought a CZ 97 B by accident so I am pondering on keeping it or trading or selling so that I could get something else.  Thanks for the kind offer, do you use the blue guns or do you use one of the other makers guns for making your guns?

Sometimes there aren't a lot of choices, so I will use whatever is available when the situation requires it... but if there is a mold offered by multiple makers, I almost always prefer the Blue Gun.

There are exceptions sometimes -- For the Browning Hi Power, I like the ASP Red Gun better than the Blue Gun.

I also really like Blackhawk's molds, but they only offer a whopping 4 models (they used to offer a few more).

I avoid molds intended for Kydex holsters, except as a last resort.

I got blue guns.  And I got aluminum guns.  I'm constantly wondering why I didn't get the ones that are "holster prepped" with the sight channel already in and the port blocked out.  Course, if I had those, then I'd still want to customize 'em a bit, so ....

Ya I been getting the molds that are for kydex, they work ok to a degree.  I put one in my 12 ton press before it went in to my vacuum press and I bent it just a little.  I might start looking at the aluminum one's for molds, I think they might have some that I have been asked to build for with the laser already molded in.

You're pressing in a press AND using a vacuum?  Now there's commitment ;)

I've seen some great work using a hydr press...maybe you didn't have enough padding in there?

Might have been, One holster I was forming caused the safety to punch right through the leather on the guard, really ruined that holster for sure!

Sounds like you got plenty of pressure.
