Members Cheyenne Posted August 30, 2016 Members Report Posted August 30, 2016 Looking to get a Leather Sewing machine for making corsets and leather jackets . Have seen quite a few used ones but other than what I have been told ( walking foot and DC motor ) ,,which machine would be good for the task ? Thank you Quote
MADMAX22 Posted August 31, 2016 Report Posted August 31, 2016 Probably see if you can get this moved down to the sewing machine section. I would call one of the distributors here on the forum and chat with them for a bit. That or Wizcraft (member) has a bit of experience sewing all kinds of stuff. I have no clue about sewing clothing items or corsets but I would suspect a cylinder arm machine like the cowboy 227 or one of the many variants of the similar machine would be a good start. Would probably also want a table adapter so you can have a flatbed in the same machine. And yes a walking foot and a servo motor which these come with would be very helpful. Quote
