Members BLACKMIKE7474 Posted September 20, 2016 Members Report Posted September 20, 2016 I've had a "Union Special, Columbia, Blindstitch 300-14" machine for over 7yrs., beautifully restored, and works perfect! I've searched for ever, trying to find the, "date of mfg.". It has a "Patent Pending" brass plate on it, so you'd think that would be a starting point, but no luck. The Union Special Co. in Hartley Ill., have been less than accommodating, who knows why! Does "anyone" have a direction to point me in? Is my machine a prototype? When was it granted a "Patent"? Serial number is, #18753. Quote
